Abstract text:
In this work the problem of structural safety of buildings made of reinforced concrete is discussed, with special emphasis placed on the influence of the quality of execution. The shortcomings of the current analytical evaluating procedures of buildings safety, in general, and of those made of reinforced concrete, in particular, are presented, as they determine, in the end, the over sizing of the load-bearing elements.
