Abstract text:
In this paper some aspects concerning the design of steel-concrete composite rolled sections with circular holes in webs are presented. This paper presents the analysis of composite cellular girders that are part of a pedestrian bridge according to Eurocode 4 approach (SR EN 1994-1-1 and SR EN 1994-1-2). The bending resistance moment is evaluated using the plastic design. The design methodology is used in the design of footbridge superstructures.
